IT ENDS WITH US- BOOK REVIEW

Can you imagine what living with a person who doesn't treat you well is like? The book "It Ends With Us" reflects the life of a young woman who is being manipulated by her boyfriend. Colleen Hoover, the writer, tries to show the society an actual problem. In fact, the book is based on a real experience of abuse.
First and foremost, we can zero in on the importance of reading this book. It was published in 2016, when social media started to grow, so it became a trend on Tiktok and Instagram, due to its engaging plot and its breathtaking story.
We can learn a lot with the main character: Lily Bloom. She is a curious, passionate and lovely girl who falls in love with Ryle. In the first place, their relationship is healthy and normal. Nevertheless, Ryle starts to be disrespectful and toxic and that is why Lily starts to have doubts. Despite those signs, Lily relies on him. While he is consuming Lily's energy, she evolves as a person and creates her own vision board: she creates a business.
Personally, I enjoyed the book, even if it was hard to read, because of the "cozy" ambiance and the way the story was presented, it is staggering and thought-provoking. Last but not least, I would like to say that the perspective of the author is what I like the most.
All in all, even if the other books of this theme are not my cup of tea, I highly recommend this book, it is well worth reading. Don't miss it!
